Review Process and Plagiarism Check

1. Manuscript Review Process

After submission, the handling editor will conduct a preliminary review of the manuscript. The handling editor will reject manuscripts that are insufficient in originality, have serious scientific or technical mistakes, lack valuable information, or are not in the scope of the journal.

Manuscripts that pass the initial review will undergo peer review. The journal implements a double-blind review system. The manuscript will be sent to at least two independent reviewers. For manuscripts that are returned for revision after peer review, authors must respond to each of the reviewers' comments and submit the revised manuscript on time. This process will be repeated until both the reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript, or until the manuscript is rejected.

For manuscripts that pass peer review, the Director of the editorial department will conduct a further review. The final review is carried out by the Chief Editor, who makes the final decision on publication and takes full responsibility for the journal's content.

2. Academic Misconduct Detection
The journal strictly prohibits any form of academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using CNKI and Wanfang plagiarism detection systems, and the similarity rate must be less than 10%.

3. Special Issues and Special Columns
The same manuscript review process applies to submissions for special issues or columns. Manuscripts submitted to a special issue or column will undergo the same review and editing process as regular submissions, and the final decision on acceptance will also be made by the Chief Editor. The Chief Editor is responsible for the entire journal, including the special issues and columns. When organizing special issues, the editorial department may invite authoritative experts in the field to serve as guest editors. Guest editors are responsible for proposing the theme of the special issue, collecting manuscripts, organizing peer reviews, and addressing any issues that arise during the publication of the special issue. Guest editors’ work is supervised by the Chief Editor to ensure the fairness of the manuscript review process.

4. Internal Submissions
Manuscripts submitted by editorial board members, editors, and guest editors follow the same review process as all other submissions. Peer review will be independent of the editorial board member/editor/guest editor and their research team. Additionally, editorial board members, editors, and guest editors are not allowed to participate in the review of manuscripts submitted by themselves, their family members, colleagues, or any other authors with whom they have a conflict of interest.

5. Corrections and Retractions
After an article is published, if an unintentional scientific error is found that does not significantly affect the results and conclusions of the article, the editorial department will issue a correction notice in the journal as soon as possible, detailing the changes made to the original article. If a serious scientific error is found post-publication, or if the article is suspected of plagiarism, fabrication, or any other form of academic misconduct, the editorial department may issue a statement informing the public of the risks associated with the article, conduct an investigation, and publish the results. In severe cases, the article may be retracted, and a retraction notice will be issued.
