The strong magnetic field generated by air-core reactors is one of the main sources of magnetic contamination in substations.A magnetic field finite element model of air-core reactor
which considering the effect of eddy current
was proposed
the magnetic field distribution was calculated and compared with measured data in the paper.In considering of occupational exposure security
measurements to improve the magnetic field distribution in occupational exposure areas with setting protection body were put forward.Then the magnetic field distributions with different protection bodies were calculated and comparisons between different materials
sizes
locations and other cases of protection bodies were made.The results indicate that the optimal measure meet the occupational exposure limit.
