Although the SF6 gas insulation metal enclosed combinative electric appliance needs quite less overhaul and maintenance compared with the traditional electrical distribution equipment

it is not a maintenance-free one.A regular maintenance with higher technological level is still necessary for the GIS.This paper analyzes the ZF6-252 GIS

and suggests some emphases of maintenance technology for the GIS equipment

including the control of gas room moisture and vacuum-pumping

the maintenance of operating mechanism

and the inspection of oil buffer

etc.These emphases are also the important monitoring items for preventing the insulation accidents.
