Using IR temperature measurement technology

a temperature monitoring system for high voltage switchgear’s contacts based on thermopile sensor is developed.It can monitor contact’s temperature in the remote unite when contact with the automatic system of a transformer substation.This paper briefly introduces the configuration and implementation of software and hardware as well as the algorithm of temperature calibration.A field experiment is finally conducted.
