This paper introduces the insulation characteristic of SF6 gas

and the harm to electrical equipment if impurities such as water exist in the gas.Therefore

the causes resulting in exceeding micro-water in SF6 gas of three 110 kV SF6 circuit breakers are analyzed

and the removal method is hence presented and verified via measurement.
