Two new methods were researched experimentally for on-site and on-line measurement of vacuum degree in vacuum interrupters.The experimental results show that: ①the emission current decay method can be used to determine vacuum degree on-site without imposing magnetic field while the vacuum gap distance is adjusted to 0.8 mm;②the magnetron method can be adopted to sensitively detect the vacuum degree on-line in 6×10-2 Pa if an excitation coil with favorable insulation structure is available.
