Abstract
According to the features of series coupling condensers
the values of copacitance and dielectric loss of upper and lower sections of the series coupling concensers were detected respectively via connecting the lower section consequently and connecting both lower and upper sections reversely without disconnection. Field test shows that this method can detect the upper and lower coupling condensers insulation conveniently and accurately with reduced workload
and moreover can make equipment and person more safe. On-line measurement of coupling condensers makes it possible to analyze real-time insulation status
