According to a classical working condition of the high power repetition frequency drive source
a long life Trigatron is designed.Trigger electrode adopts a type of disk structure
with a certain number of notches on it.And then
the accumulated charge flux experiments are carried out.The peak value of current is 23 kA and the charge flux is 0.1 C per discharge.The whole charge flux is 500 C.The experimental results show that the trigger performance of the Trigatron become better after the accumulated charge flux experiments.These facts indicates that the charge flux of this Trigatron can be greater than 500 C.
