a more powerful contamination information management and analysis system is needed.This paper constructed common WebGIS framework and flow in electrical power industry;developed a high voltage insulator contamination management and analysis system based on WebGIS

computer aided analyze technology.This system can fulfill the works such as gathering

management

application and analyzing the contamination information（especially IR-image information）of insulators

in power line.Therefore

the work flow of the contamination information process was improved and optimized

and the maintenance efficiency of insulator strings was enhanced.
