the designing theory of impulse current generator for nonlinear resistances is put forward. It is testified that
when linear waveform adjustable resistance R1 equals to 0.25 0.5 times of the total changing field of nonlinear dynamic resistance
the waveform parameters of impulse current agree with the requirement of IEC and GB standards. The fact shows that the designed circuits can be used in impulse current test for arrestors
