Large-scale rectification set has some defects such that tracing speed of the steady current control system is slow

that adjusting voltage range of the saturable reactor is small

and that controlling depth of the saturable reactor at △/Y side is imbalance etc. These make the loaded switch adjust voltage frequently

force the pressure protector to act

and cause the apparatus tripping operation. A set of saturable reactor is added to rectification transformer

which makes the adjusting voltage range reach 60-70 V. Thus

steady current and reducing the action frequency of the loaded switch have been realized.
