The influences of environmental temperature on the moisture content in SF6 gas and moisture measurement instruments are studied in this paper. Both the laboratory experimental results and the on-site experimental results show that the moisture content will rise if the environmental temperature rises. Under the same condition
the influence of environmental temperature on the reading of two types of moisture measurement instruments is investigated too. It is shown that environmental temperature has much greater influence on the resistance-capacitance moisture measurement instrument than the other one.
