This paper investigates the DC breakdown voltage in the two-phase mixture that is composed of air and mist. The experiment result shows that the water drop can reduce the breakdown voltage
there’s few difference in the ratio of dropping in uniform and non-uniform electric field;the bigger the mist flux is
the higher the breakdown voltage is. It also finds that gap length has influence on the effect of mist. And the liquid layer on the electrode surface can decrease the breakdown voltage.
