Abstract
The paper introduces the technical course of the experimental simulation technology of virtual prototype. The software of Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System (ADAMS) is applied to establish the operating mechanism’s dynamic simulation model of a vacuum circuit breaker. Its kinetics and the dynamics are imitated and analyzed. Compared with the experimental results
the simulation indicates that the dynamic simulation model can provide a good modern design method for research and performance analysis of the operating mechanism of a vacuum circuit breaker.
