Abstract
The simulation of a combined surge generator to produce 30 kV
1.2/50 μs voltage impulse and 15 kA
8/20 μs current impulse is introduced in this paper. EMTP and other computer tools are used to determine the interaction of the generator and EUT. The generator has been developed in high voltage lab in accordance with the simulation results.
