The treatment of dyeing wastewater is becoming a hot area of environmental field in many countries.In this paper

the dyeing wastewater is treated by application of electro-chemical method.The treatment effect of dyeing wastewater at different type of electrodes

different space and different electrolytic tank is studied.Results show that the meshy electrode and hollow electrode are found to be better than the plate electrode.The best electrode is the meshy electrode with8eyes.Shortening the electrode space might fasten the speed of reaction and lessen the energy consumption.Electrolytic tank with reel shape has better effect than the electrolytic tank with rectangle shape.It is concluded that the electro-chemical method has the significant efficiency for removing COD and chromaticity of the dyeing wastewater and it is a prospective treatment method.
