Abstract
Based on the calculations of the OFPI-220 circuit breaker a math model to compute the pressure characteristic in the arc-extinguishing chamber of the SF6 circuit breaker is derived. The results show that the position of the exhausting gas hole and the arc heat effects on the gas inside the hollow moving contact have obviously raised the pressure rising speed.
