Abstract
This paper deals with the flashover characteristics of spacers with fixed conducting particles in SF6 stressed by steep - fronted impluses of different front times. The effect of the corona inception voltage and the gas pressure on the surface fla -shover voltage is also studied. The results show that the flashover behaviors along the surface of spacers in SF6 in highly non - uniform electric field are different from those of the gas gap
