Abstract
The electric field of the interrupter of the puffer SF6breaker model was computed using a charge simulation method. Analyzing the results of 100% and 50% gap dis tances
th e maximum stress was found on the top of the downstream el ectrode. And the extistence of the nozzle affects the electric field distribution greatly.
