Abstract
The quasi-stationary magnetic field distribution in quenching chamber of rotating arc circuit breaker has been calculated by Iso-param-eteric finite element methods. The computed value of field has been proved to be quite agreement with measured value. The relationship between field distribution and geometry of quenching chamber was achieved by detailed computation. Thus some suggestions are presented for the design of rotary Arc quenching chamber.
