Abstract
This paper investigates into feasibility of forming multiple semicylindrical protrusions by winding a thin wire on the electrode surface.Computational and experimental results for this surface roughness model are in good agreement
which shows that prediction of the effect of multi-protrusions on breakdown of SF6 is porsible
if the roughness model used in computation is in accordance with the surface condition of the electrode
