High voltage circuit breaker as the commonly used electrical equipment
and the opening/closing coil is the key component of its operating device.This paper described a new method to judge the circuit breaker fault based on monitoring its opening/closing coil current.First
the monitoring principles of magnetic flux changes as the electromagnet’s air gap changes was presented
then the hardware circuit was designed based on DSP
finally a detailed analysis of the signal was made by using the combination of the two algorithms of wavelet analysis and then the circuit breaker status information was obtained accurately.According to the status information
