A new type of capacitive composite insulation bus bar is introduced in this paper. The structure and the dielectric test method are analyzed. A kind of filter circuit is used in lightning impulse voltage test;the influence of its parameters on test waveform is analyzed by simulation

and the feasibility of this method is verified during tests

using this method helps to solve the problem of adjusting lightning impulse waveform. According to the results of partial discharge measurement

the factors that may affect the partial discharge of bus bar are analyzed. Finally

some suggestions are put forward for the insulation test method of such bus bar

which provides reference for the test and operation of such bus products.
