Abstract

Using the differential-integral arc model

the properties of SF6 arc in two kinds of nozzles are calculated and analysed. Some important effects of nozzle shape and Non-Local-Thermal-Equilibrium phenomenon on the arc properties arc presented and the structure of SF6 flow field in the nozzle is analysed too.
