Simulation Design and Study of Mid-stage Buffer Device During the Openning Process of High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker
In order to widely apply vacuum circuit breaker to high voltage level
the interruption of long gap and high current arc in vacuum has always been a hot issue in the industry. The long gap and high current arc interruption technology in vacuum has put forward special requirements for the opening motion of contact. It is such threestage motion characteristic as fast first
slow later and fast again. In this paper
a mid-course buffer device is designed based on the structure of the middle spring. It can realize the effect of the middle deceleration and the late acceleration simultaneously. The feasibility of the device is verified by simulation calculation and
at the same time
the influence of different device parameters on the opening motion curve is analyzed by simulation. The final design parameters can achieve the requirements of three-stage opening motion which is porposed in the paper. The average opening speed of the first 30 mm reaches 3.63 m/s
the average opening speed of 30-45 mm reaches 1.52 m/s
and the average opening speed of 45-60 mm reaches 3.56 m/s.
