By analyzing the conventional power factor measurement methods

a new measurement method of power factor based on DSP technology is proposed.Making full use of the advantages of DSP in signal analysis and processing

software synchronous sampling is performed in advance to get the sampling series of voltage and current

then digital filtering and Fourier filtering are conducted to gain the accurate power factor based on power frequency fundamental component.Simulation result demonstrates the correctness of this method.
