Abstract

A single-phase misoperation event of 220 kV splitting-phase circuit breaker

which occurred in one substation

is introduced. The possible reason causing the circuit breaker misoperation is analyzed. Inspection contents and results of the secondary control circuit and operating mechanism are introduced. The reasons of the circuit breaker misoperation are confirmed

and updating scheme and precautionary measures are proposed.
