Impact of Neutral Grounding Mode on Ferroesonance in 35 kV Power System
Frequent ferroresonance overvoltage in 35 kV power system does serious harm to itself. This paper studies the impact of three main neutral grounding modes(i.e.isolated neutral
grounding via arc suppressing coil
and grounding via low resistance) of a 35 kV power system on the ferroresonance overvoltage induced by PT saturation through theoretical analysis and EMTP-RV simulation. The results show that as long as suitable parameters are chosen for arc suppressing coil or low resistance
neutral displacement voltage of the 35 kV power system grounding via arc suppressing coil or low resistance can be limited in the voltage triangle to effectively suppress ferroresonance.
