To understand the response of the equipment under test(EUT) to electromagnetic pulse(EMP) and the relation of the response and the pulse disturbance
a pulse input experiment is conducted on an operational amplifier composed of two different operational amplifier chips. The effects of EMP parameters such as peak
rise time and fall time on the response are analyzed according to the experimental data.It is found that for a circuit with special function
same type of pulse but with different parameters induces different responses. An energy-coupling circuit model is established by using input and output data according to the artificial neural network(ANN) identification theory. The goodness of fit of the model can reach 88.4%
and it has a good generalization capability to qualitatively make response prediction.
