According to the reliability evaluation principle of high-voltage switchgears
the main characteristic parameters which concern the reliability were proposed.Combining the characteristic parameters with the corresponding national standards and switchgear applications
electromagnetic interference test for each parameter was conducted
and the test data were analyzed. The judgement matrix is constructed with the test data on the basis of the analytic hierarchy process to obtain the weight of each parameter which influences the reliability of different type of high-voltage switchgear. The results indicate that surge impact is of destructivity
EFT pulse series and damper oscillatary wave can cause switchgear fault but not failure. This study may be helpful reliability evaluation of high-voltage switchgears.
