Induced Voltage Profile Simulation and Influencing Factors Study for 330 kV OPGW
The 330 kV transmission line employs two overhead ground wires
one is steel hinge wire and the other is optical fiber composite wire. It has been proved that a ground wire adopting the segmented insulation with onepoint earthing mode can achieve better electrical performance than adopting the segmented insulation with one-byone tower earthing mode or through spark-gap earthing mode. The segmented insulation with one-point earthing mode limits the amplitude of induced voltage on ground wire
and reduces the induced current and energy loss
which results in reliable protection performance. In this paper
a model of 330 kV transmission line is set up by making use of EMTP to investigate the induced voltage profile on OPGW. The results show that when the segmented insulation with one-point earthing mode is employed
the longer the segmented length is
the higher the induced voltage becomes. When the transmission line adopts the mode of reverse phase order disposition and reverse transposition
OPGW gets the lowest induced voltage compared with other disposition and transposition modes of conductors.
