A large number of operation data of high-voltage switchgears were analyzed

and a high-voltage switchgear reliability database was developed to achieve efficient management

etc. of the reliability data

and to standardize their collection and recording. This paper introduces the conception and implementation of the database system development. This work may provide an idea for future reliability researches of power grid equipment

and for laying down scientific and effective switchgear maintenance and repair strategies.
