Security Analysis in the Design of the Substation Grounding Grid
Rational design for grounding grid is the first link of the substation construction. Complying with security is becoming a fundamental point of evaluation for grounding grid. Based on a representative sample of 220 kV substation grounding grid design
this text introduce the security analysis into the substation grounding grid at the design stage
and describes the basics of application security analysis in the design process and methodology. This text proposes a way of modeling for the ion grounding deep well and a simple way of calculating the fault current into the ground when there is a grounding short-circuit fault in the substation. Based on CDEGS this text calculates and analyzes the parameters for substation grounding short-circuit fault
as well as determines whether it meets the requirements of safety limit
and finally evaluates the design scheme. This can be a reference for the substation designers.
