Aiming at the partial discharge（PD） pulse waveforms sequence from ultra-high frequency（UHF）detection

three-dimensional vector correlation graph is constructed in time or frequency domain. Sub-pulse sequences at different positions of the three-dimensional vector correlation graph are obtained with unsupervised clustering analysis. Then identification and analysis are performed on the PRPD spectrum of each sub-pulse sequence to form a novel separation and location technology of pulse sources

including PD and noise. Application shows that the novel technology possesses enhanced pulse source separation ability in dealing with such problems as preliminary location

anti-interference

and multiple PD sources.
