To investigate the operation characteristics of the microgrid

and diesel generator are established based on the simulation software MATLAB/Simulink. Further

a complete model of microgrid system is built with the modules in MATLAB/Simulink. The microgrid system is simulated to reveal the effect of distributed power output on its operation characteristics in different operation conditions. Simulation shows that the proposed model of microgrid system accurately reflects the state of real microgrid system

and may provide a technical support for the microgrid planning and operation.
