Simulation Analysis on Electric Field Intensity of 500/220 kV Four-circuit-on-one-tower Transmission Line for Live Working
The spatial distribution of 500 k V and 220 k V four-circuit-on-one-tower transmission line is quite different from that of the UHV transmission line with single voltage level
and its electric field environment of live working is more complex. In this paper
the finite element method is used to simulate the electric field distribution of the four-circuit-on-one-tower transmission line
and a human body simulation model is established to calculate and analyse the electric field intensity on different parts of the human body in equipotential and ground potential conditions
and hence to select safety protection measures for the persons of live working. It is concluded that the protective clothing with shielding efficiency of 40 d B is necessary for the person who works in equipotential condition
and the conventional protective clothing is safe for the person who works in ground potential condition.
