Research on the Influence of PM2.5 on the Academic ESDD
A lot of environmental monitoring data when the contamination flashover accident happened show that
the contamination condition on power transmission equipment insulation surface is related to atmospheric pollution
pollution growth rate is larger in the area with smaller pollutant particle size. In this paper
the empirical formula power between equivalent salt deposit density(ESDD)and atmosphere environment parameter by some domestic research institutions is introduced. The modified empirical formula is given
in which PM
2.5
is considered. The academic ESDD is calculated by the empirical formula wi
th and without the consideration of the PM
2.5
respectively. The compare of the measured data of ESDD by on-line monitoring device based on optical sensing technology to the calculated results shows they are in good agreement when using the empirical formula with the consideration of PM
2.5
but the calculated results have larger difference when using the empirical formula without the consideration of PM
2.5
. This means
in some areas there is no pollution monitoring device or unavailable measurement of ESDD
the empirical formula with consideration of PM
2.5
can be used to calculate the academic ESDD and its change in real time
which can reflect the change of gird pollution level in this area timely.
