Influence of the DC-GIL Conductive Adherent Particles on the Charge Accumulation of Insulator Surface
The conductive particle pollution is an important factor on insulation strength deterioration of DC-GIL.This paper studies the effects of conductive particles on surface charge accumulation of a post insulator. In the article
a particle charge measurement platform considering conductive particles is established. First
explore the charge accumulation time of insulator surface in steady state. In addition
based on the charge accumulation time
the effects of the location
length and diameter of conductive particles on charge accumulation are analyzed. The results illustrate that the accumulation of surface charge surge can be caused by the conductive particles attached to the surface of the insulator. In addition
the surge caused by the particles contact with electrodes is more remarkable. As the particle length increases
the charge accumulation caused by the particles increases. However
Influence of particle diameter on the electric charge accumulation is not linear. Compared with positive charges
