Influence of Live-working Washing Agents on Power Frequency Flashover Voltage of Insulator
With respect to the washing agents used in the electronic communications sector and low voltage electronic equipment and devices
higher requirements for the hot washing agents performance in high voltage insulators liveworking washing has been put forward. At present
live-working washing agents have been used in power system transmission line insulator strings. But system test research of live-working washing agents on power frequency flashover voltage has not been undertaken
which arise to hidden danger for efficient and safety live-working washing of agents. Therefore
the test research of the influence of live-working washing agents on the power frequency flashover voltage of insulate is conducted in this paper. The power frequency flashover voltage of XP-70 insulator is tested by spraying four kinds of typical live-working washing agents under different contamination degree and cleaning state. Test results show that
change of flashover voltage under the clean effect is not obvious after spraying the 4 kinds of live-working washing agents
the flashover voltage is about 80 kV with very small change; and after volatilization
the flashover voltage is close to the dry flashover voltage. Moreover
fluctuatic of flashover voltage
at different contamination degree is slightly larger than that of clean condition
but the flashover voltages are also about 80 kV. Testing results show that the live-working washing agents have almost no influence on flashover voltage of insulators at different contamination degree. Studies presented in this paper is of important guidance to safe use of the live-working washing agents.
