Application of Conductive Coating Material in Mitigating the Transient Electric Shock of High Voltage Transmission Lines to Adjacent Houses
In order to mitigate the impact of the transient electric shock on the inner wall of the house and the indoor metal structures
in this paper
a new method that by coating the conductive material on the external wall surface of the house near high voltage transmission line is proposed.Further
we select a house near a 500 kV extrahigh voltage transmission line for example
to verify this method by the simulation based on finite element method and experiment simultaneously. The results show that when coated the conductive material on two sides of external wall surface adjacent the high voltage transmission line
the intensity of transient electric shock and inductive voltage on the inner wall of the house and the indoor metal structures can be effectively reduced. It can be reduced above 80% in theoretical
and the actual test results show a reduction of more than 97%.The research results produce a new technological approach to mitigate the impact of the transient electric shock near the high voltage transmission line.
