Vibration Simulation and Experiment of Two-stage Magnetic-valvecontrollable Reactor
The core vibration of the two-stage magnetic-valve controllable reactor depends on the magnetostriction of silicon steel sheets. In this study
the theoretical derivation of magnetostrictive effect of the core was performed based on conservation of internal energy and mechanical energy.A two-stage magnetic-valve controllable reactor with capacity of 5 400 var was modeled and simulated by using the finite element software COMSOL.Simulation results show that the acceleration of side yoke point is of obvious periodicity and the vibration mostly focuses on 100 Hz
which is consistent with the theoretical analysis.A platform was built to conduct vibration test for two-stage magnetic-valve reactor
and the experimental data agree with the simulation results
verifying the correctness of the simulation model. In addition
experimental results show that the vibration at magnetic valve is significantly greater than the vibration at side yoke. The present model may facilitate calculation of core vibration and vibration reduction in design phase of reactor.
