Simulation on Temperature Field of GIS Disconnector at Different Voltage Level Based on Finite Element Analysis
GIS disconnector is prone to thermal malfunction. Studying the temperature field distribution can provide reference for GIS temperature monitoring. In this paper
based on the finite element simulation software Ansys Work-bench
multi-physical fields coupling simulation models of GIS disconnector at different voltage levels are estab-lished
and the temperature field distributions of the disconnector under actual operating conditions are calculated. And the influences of ambient temperature and wind speed on the temperature of the disconnector rod and enclosureare analyzed. The results show that: 1)the change of the ambient temperature causes linear change of the GIS temper-ature;2)the wind speed changes the convection heat transfer between the enclosure and the air;and 3)the increasein the wind speed leads to the decrease in the temperature of the rod and enclosure
but the decreasing tendency be-comes more and more slow
and the heat dissipation effect also reduces. Finally
the numerical relationship amongthe temperature rise of the enclosure
the ambient temperature and the wind speed is employed to deduce empirical formulas for calculating the temperature of the GIS disconnector rod at different voltage level.
