Comparative Analysis of Oscillating Wave Induced Partial Discharge Defects in Two 35 kV Cable Joints with Different Processes
the wide application of power cables plays an important role in the development of urban power grids. This paper introduces the application and basic principle of the detection technol-ogy of partial discharge due to oscillating wave in city distribution network cable
and selects two partial discharge de-fects in 35 kV cable joints with different processes for examples. The causes of partial discharge
partial discharge ini-tial voltages
and partial discharge capacities are comparatively analyzed. It is found that the process has obvious in-fluences on the type of partial discharge and the parameters of the partial discharge. This study may provide a refer-ence for promotion and application of the partial discharge detection technology and scientific evaluation of partial discharge defect state.
