Influence of Parameter Difference Between Parallel Cables on Current-carrying Distribution
To study the influence of parameter difference between parallel cables on current-carrying distribution
various current-carrying distribution in cable groups are calculated under different space and phase sequence alignment situation which the parallel cable parameters are different.Illustrated by the case of two parallel high voltage220 kV single core cable
the results calculated by Carson-Clem formula show that wire core resistivity differences and parallel unbalance degree exist a linear relation. When the differences can be equivalent to the situation which one wire core is copper and the other is aluminum
compared to the state of no difference
parallel unbalance degree increases about 2%generally.There are few influences on parallel cable current-carrying capacity distribution when cable insulation thickness exists differences
but voltage of metal sheath induction reduces appropriately when insulation thickness increasing. The parallel cable current-carrying capacity distribution results almost unaffected when the insulation dielectric constant
