Simulation Research of the Influence of Cooler Operation on the Hot Spot Temperature of Power Transformer Winding
In order to study the effect cooler fans’ running mode on winding hot spots temperature
based on the ac-tual situation of a 25 000 kVA transformer
a physical model of forced oil cooled transformer
finite element analysis software Ansys is used to simulate the control effect on winding hot spot temperature of different load fans. The simula-tion results show that
for different operating conditions and different transformer cooler operation strategy
using finite element analysis simulation method
effects of fans’ running mode on transformer winding hot spot can be observed
which provides a method using finite element analysis method to guide the operational strategy of wind machine.
