Vibration Characteristics of Different Measuring Points on Surface of Transformer in Operation
The wavelet transform map analysis technology is employed to analyze and compare the vibration signals at different surface positions and different moments of a transformer in operation. The results show that: 1)the amplitude of the frequency-doubling component of the vibration signal’s fundamental frequency is the largest
and the frequency-doubling components at different positions have the strongest correlation and maintain stable phase difference;2)under different load current
the higher frequency component of the vibration signal is mainly affected by the winding vibration due to current excitation;3)among the vibration signals in different directions at the same position
the vibration signal vertical to surface is the most intense and has the most abundant spectrum components;and 4)for the vibration signals in all directions
the frequency-doubling components have the largest amplitude and strongest correlation and keep stable phase difference. This work may provide reference for operating state analysis of transformerwiththevibrationanalysismethodanditsfaultdiagnosis.
