Improved Mechanical Fault Diagnosis Technology of Transformer Based on Similarity of Vibration Signal Characteristic Matrix
The existing mechanical fault diagnosis of transformers based on the characteristic matrix similarity of vibration signals can realize the fault diagnosis of multiple testing positions via multiple groups of vibration signals
however the diagnosis may be affected by load conditions to give misjudgment. In this study
the construction method of the characteristic matrix of vibration signals was improved
and the influences of the load rate
the power factor and the degree of three-phase unbalance on the characteristic matrix similarity of vibration signals were investigated through experiment. Results showed that the present improvement could effectively reduce the misjudgment caused by the change of load conditions in fault diagnosis. The improved characteristic matrix similarity was applied to diagnose the simulated faults and the results showed that the improved mechanical fault diagnosis technology of transformers based on the characteristic matrix similarity of vibration signals could accurately diagnose the faults with little influence of load conditions
