Vibration Research and Optimization on UHVDC Converter Valve Saturable Reactor
With the development of UHVDC the transmission capacity reaches to a new level
as the one of core components of the thyristor converter valve the saturable reactor play a important function which restrain the current rate of change enhance the valve voltage balance but in the operation of the converter valve saturable reactor the vibration cause by the magnetostriction and electromagnetic force of silicon steel sheet in the core which can lead to a series of harms of noise and leaking. In this paper the reason of vibration is analyzed the electromagnetic field and harmonic response of the reactor is simulated with Ansys software the electromagnetic force and vibration displacement are calculated. Two kinds of vibration reduction schemes have been put forward and their feasibility has been verified by experiment and simulation which providing a reference for the following optimal design.
