Analysis of Temperature Field and Stress Field of Pollution on the Surface of Porcelain Insulator Cleaned by Pulse Laser
Pulse laser cleaning technology has the advantages of low operating cost and good controllability
and has been applied to the contamination removal of porcelain insulator surfaces. The pulse energy density is too largewhich will cause damage to the porcelain insulator. The energy density is too small
which directly affects the cleaning efficiency. In this paper
the porcelain insulator and surface contamination are used as the object. The finite element model is established to analyze the surface temperature and stress variation of porcelain insulators with different energy density pulse lasers.
The surface contamination cleaning mechanism of pulsed laser cleaning ceramic insulators is studied.Determine the optimal cleaning energy density. The results show that when the pulsed laser cleaning porcelain insulator with an energy density of 1.18 J/cm
2
to 2.01 J/cm
2
the surface temperature of the insulator is much smaller than the vaporization temperature
and the insulator is not damaged. When the pulse energy density is1.41 J/cm
2
the maximum stress on the surface is less than and close to the tensile strength of the porcelain insulator
and the pulse energy density cleaning efficiency is the highest without damaging the substrate. The research results provide an important basis for the energy density selection of pulsed laser cleaning porcelain insulators.
