Simulation Research of Motion Characteristics of Closing Electromagnet in Operating Mechanism for High Voltage Circuit Breaker
The electromagnet part of the operating mechanism of the high-voltage circuit breaker is responsible for converting electrical signals into mechanical signals. Whether the opening and closing electromagnets can normally operate affects the reliability of the circuit breaker
in order to ensure the operating reliability of the electromagnet
it is necessary to study the motion characteristics of the electromagnet. Taking the closing electromagnet of one type high voltage circuit breaker as an example
this paper introduces the main structure and working principle of closing electromagnet
and how to use the finite element analysis software to establish a 3 D transient model of the closing solenoid
and use the software to calculate the magnetic field distribution
moving iron core movement
and coil current changeof each part during the operation of the closing electromagnet. At the same time
the coil current in the closing coil during the movement of the closing electromagnet of the high-voltage circuit breaker was experimentally measured
and the measured coil current was compared with the simulation result to verify the accuracy of the simulation result.
